Location for Thrift Store
Well folks, I have searched until I can search NO more. I have prayed that God reveal the location for the Retro Thrift & Gift store.
This is a retail store that the ministry planned to open in order to benefit the children and teens of the ministry. It will also provide a place where the items donated could be kept secure from the elements and make it easier for our people who need things to be able to "shop" for free.
If any of you have ever visited our yard, you know that we sometimes have things on pallets, under tarps, and in the greenhouse just to keep them clean and secure until one of our guests needs furnishings for their "place to live."
WE ARE TRYING DESPERATELY TO BE FAITHFUL!!
I looked at a storefront in the Meadowbrook area the other day. IT WAS GREAT!! But, they wanted THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS A MONTH, and a three year lease, and a guarantor in writing for the full lease amount—in case we failed! I just wanted to cry.
I don't know what to do but to ask for your eyes and ears, and say to you: Do you know somebody who would have a building for us to use?
We take very good care of what we have and even better care of what someone else lends us.
We really don't care how God does this, but we know He wants us to do this and so there we are!
Please !! If you know anything or anybody - please call and let's get together on this.
And if you can't or won't then could you please pray for us to approach this situation with wisdom and knowledge and that we will not grow weary in this pursuit.
